アゴの持たない無顎類という初期の魚類です。
魚ですが胸ビレなどがなく、自由に泳ぐことができませんでした。
魚のできそこないといった感じで海底の泥の中の微生物を
口ですくって食べるといったおとなしい生き物といわれています。
そのため、 オウムガイなどの格好の獲物になっていました。

Arandaspis is Agnata - early jawless fish.
As it was a fish with no breast fins, it could not swim well.
It is said that it was a peaceful creature, as if a failure as a fish,
to suck organisms living around mud on the ocean floor.
Therefore, it was easy to become food for Nautilus.
