メトリオリンクスなど海に生息していた海生ワニの仲間です。 前足は短く、後足と尾はヒレ状だったことから、おもに 水中で生活していたといわれています。 細長いアゴをしており、魚をとらえて食べて魚食性といわれて いますが、海生ワニにはあごが短く海生爬虫類などを捕食していた 肉食の ダコサウルスもいました。 It is a companion of the sea life crocodilian such as Metoriorhynchus.
